co-operation amongst Korea, Japan, Interpol General Secretariat and Interpol
member countries;
Taking into account that a possible threat of terrorism to the event
has been recognized as a priority issue since September 11 terrorist attacks;

for violent/terrorist small groups or hooligans to incite spectacular high profile

and Interpol member countries assist Korea and Japan, and cooperate fully in
the following ways:

with both the host countries;
IPSG facilitates exchange of police information and intelligence amongst
its 179 member countries in
relation to the 2002 FIFA World Cup;
IPSG provides assistance, services and information on all forms of criminality
that might pose a threat during the World Cup to Korea and Japan;
IPSG takes appropriate action in consultation with the relevant countries
in order to enhance police co-operation and the exchange of information during
the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
