Secretary General's mission to Korea underlines importance of information sharing

INTERPOL’s global police communications system, and registering information with the organization’s Stolen and Lost Travel Documents database topped the agenda during Secretary General Ronald K. Noble’s recent visit to South Korea.
During the three-day mission, Mr Noble met with senior Korean officials, including the Minister of the Interior and the Commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, to discuss ways to strengthen co-operation.
Mr Noble also visited the Korea National Police University in Seoul where he delivered a special lecture to fourth year students (pictured) on the role and functions of INTERPOL, the world’s largest police organization with 186 member countries.
