Sculpture by Henry Moore Stolen in the United Kingdom

On 15 December 2005, a sculpture by Henry Moore was stolen from the Henry Moore Foundation in Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, UK.

Using a crane, the thieves loaded the huge sculpture on a lorry and took it away.

Description:

Bronze sculpture, 'Reclining figure', length: 350 cm, height: 240 – 270 cm, weight: 2.5 tons, marked 'MOORE 0/6', on a solid bronze base.
